Friday 20th February 6.30pm - 8.30pm at Trinity Church, Leek. Staffordshire.
Our Wisdom Keeper for this session is Paula Charnley from Embodied Transformation - a Psychotherapist and teacher of Focusing with a background in Non-Violent Communication.
This workshop will set you on the way to communicate better with yourself and others.
Learn all about:
Listening and being present.
Connecting to your inner landscape.
Going beyond the story to build a relationship with the wisdom of the body.
Dealing with difficult emotional triggers in a somatic way.
How you can be the change you wish to see in the World.
There is a strong urge for people to feel part of ‘something’. Going it alone is no longer appealing for many.
When people come together in community there is growth and beauty on all levels but there is also conflict. Differences of opinion, disagreements, clashes of energy. It’s natural that this occurs and in a way it makes the community richer but it can feel uneasy.
Paula will demonstrate how we can navigate interactions through deep listening, body awareness and an openness that takes us beyond our usual view point.
What we will learn in this session are skills for life.

The evening will be experiential as we put into practice the tools we can take forth, so we leave feeling confident and able to Consciously Communicate and deep listen in our own communities, whether that be neighbourhood, work life or family circles.

A note from Natalie, the founder of Earth School Staffordshire Moorlands:
Welcome to Earth School Staffordshire Moorlands.
An initiative that aims to provide the local community with knowledge on a vast range of Earth based subjects which will widen understanding and perception of the land on which we live and inspire future guardians of our wonderful planet.
Our curriculum covers lessons from soil quality and allotment planting to navigation and star constellations. There is a blend of community learning, spirituality, Earth care and Self-care.
For each lesson, I invite a different Wisdom Keeper to come and share their knowledge and skills. By involving people from the local community my aim is to create a rich, biodiverse place of learning where wisdom is passed on from human to human and people feel supported and empowered to take their learning and put it into action so we can start to play an active role in being the change we wish to see.
